The RP220 charge controller is expertly designed for optimal performance and durability. Fully potted and IP68 rated, it offers exceptional resistance to water and dust. The controller is encased in sturdy aluminum with heat sink fins and features an internal cooling fan controlled by a temperature switch, ensuring it remains cool and efficient under various operating conditions.

A critical aspect of the RP220 is its flexible load output, which allows direct connection of your LED signage. This output provides multiple protections to ensure the safety and efficiency of both the battery and connected devices:

1. Battery Type Setting: Setting the correct battery type is crucial to prevent damage and to optimize performance and battery life.

2. Working Mode of the Load: Tailor the lighting operation to your needs with several configurable options:

   • 24H: Maintains the load connection continuously, except in low power conditions to protect the battery.
   • Dusk to Dawn (D2D): Automatically connects the load at night and disconnects during the day, ideal for nighttime illumination without manual interference.
   • D2D+Timer: Combines dusk-to-dawn functionality with a timer, keeping the lights on for a preset duration (1-13 hours) after dusk.

For manual control, you can temporarily override automatic settings using the "Manual" button followed by the "ON/OFF" button. Resetting the working mode after manual operation will resume automatic function.

If ordered with batteries and panels, the batteries are designed to last 24-hours, accommodating for cloudy days without compromising performance. This ensures that your signage remains brightly lit, providing consistent visibility and reliability. Illuminate your space efficiently from dusk until dawn, or customize the lighting duration to meet your specific needs, while maintaining safe and effective operation.
