RevoPower Trailblazer Solar Generator: Advanced Solar & Wind Turbine Plug-and-Play Power for Off-Grid Applications
Revolutionizing Off-Grid Power: The Trailblazer Solar Generator
Unleash the power of renewable energy with the Trailblazer Solar Generator. This plug-and-play marvel is your ultimate ally for off-grid power, whether you're at home, camping, tailgating, hosting events, on construction sites, road tripping, overlanding, or more.
Why is the Trailblazer a Game Changer?
-
Effortless Setup: With its do-it-yourself, plug-and-play design, the Trailblazer is ready to accompany you on your next adventure. Simply insert your batteries, and you're good to go. Connecting solar and wind inputs is a breeze, ensuring you're always powered up.
-
Abundant Power Outlets: Whether you choose the "no inverter" option or not, the Trailblazer is equipped with pre-installed 3-prong receptacles and USB-C ports. For those needing more power, the inverter option delivers up to 3,000W continuous (6,000W surge).
-
Safety and Durability: All components, including the inverter and solar charge controller, are housed internally. This design ensures safety around children and pets and protects sensitive electronics from impacts, dust, and light water exposure.
-
Ease of Maintenance: Unlike other solar generators that become obsolete with a single component failure, the Trailblazer allows for easy maintenance using simple hand tools and readily available parts.
-
Versatile Compatibility: Our new high-performance solar charge controller allows the Trailblazer to work with almost any 12V battery. Installing your own batteries is straightforward: just connect the supplied 5/16” ring terminal wires to your battery’s posts.
Features:
- Seamless Wind Turbine Connection: Easily connect your 3-phase AC wind turbine.
- Built-in Wind Turbine Brake: Easily stop or slow down the blades when raising or lowering your turbine.
- Efficient Energy Conversion: 3-phase AC to 12V DC rectifier for charging your 12V battery.
- Wind Power Management: Wind turbine charge controller and dump load resistors suitable for up to a 400W wind turbine.
- Temperature-Controlled Fans: High-flow fans for autonomous operation of up to a 400W wind turbine. For higher wind input needs, explore our Trailblazer II or Rebel Solar Generator models.

Extremely Well Done
Every thing about this box was done well with quality components and some really cool 3D printed parts. Likely the strongest points are the wiring and MPPT controller. To be clear there are no real flaws with this period. Buy it and you won’t be unhappy at all. My suggestions might move it out of its very attractive price range so it is not clear if they are valid. But here are some improvements not flaws. Would like to see larger gauge wire for the battery leads. Given the battery size the box will fit and the high discharge amps of newer batteries a 6 AWG size would be more attractive. Same goes for the external posts size. Think they are 1/4. 5/16 or larger might be an improvement depending on how you used the box. I may not be looking at the wiring correctly bit it seems that the power supplied to the external posts is not fused protected. Looks like the others are protected by the resettable 30 amp circuit breaker. To be clear I did not disassemble to verify. But it does see like a breaker is needed for the external terminals. While they greatly improved the likely poor directions supplied with the MPPT controller, likely due to my inexperience, but I found the information provided to be lacking in providing a good overview of the controller operations, specifications, and lacking details like what the battery options (b0, b1,.....) are for. However the bottom line is you won’t be unhappy with this purchase and the customer service is beyond amazing. I initially ordered the modified sine wave inverter and the changed my mind to the pure sine wave. No issues at all quick email and it was done. That kind of service is unheard of these days. These are people you want to do business with.
