Being able to supply your own battery or use our battery makes this solar generator one of the most versatile and least expensive options on the market. Featuring our new high performance solar charge controller, these solar generators can be used with virtually any 12V battery on earth. Installing your own batteries is super easy: Just connect the supplied 5/16” ring terminal wires to your battery’s posts. This solar generator can hold up to a size 31 deep cycle battery. Our solar generators are completely modular with connections to add more batteries in the future.
Future maintenance is easy with simple hand tools and off-the-shelf parts, unlike some solar generators that are worthless if one component fails.
12V vs 24V: 24V includes a voltage regulator for the 12V socket and USB/USB-C ports. Upgrading to 24V allows higher solar charging power and better inverter performance but requires a 24V battery/batteries.

Modular and flexible
I built a modular system with this DIY battery box and added my own panels. The flexibility to choose my own charge controller and batteries is awesome. Instructions were decent but some steps could be clearer. Still, it's a great kit.

Time will tell about reliability and durability, but what a great and easy to use product! Fits my 12volt Mini van camper life perfectly.

Good service, good product
What I like most about this design is the modularity. It enables the user to swap out batteries, inverters, charge controllers, etc. Without too much difficulty. You can add batteries in parallel as well through the external terminals. Future proof system that won't turn into a paper weight if a component fails. Couple that with responsive customer service and its a solid choice. Just be sure to do your research ahead of time so you know what you are buying. Returning these devices is a challenge not worth undertaking.
