Clean, simple way to add capacity — works...
Picked up the Solar Generator Battery Expansion Box to add a 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 to my Rebel setup, and it worked exactly as advertised. The included terminal blocks and cables made the wiring tidy, and the post terminals to the main box kept the connection straightforward. Fit was great—my battery dropped right in with room for routing and padding (those internal dims are accurate). Performance-wise, I gained ~1.2 kWh of extra runtime, which has been enough to keep the fridge, lights, and network gear running comfortably during evening use. Build feels solid and purpose-built—no gimmicks, just a practical enclosure that does the job. Tip for other buyers: match state of charge before paralleling, add a proper fuse close to the battery, and secure the pack so it can’t shift. Took me about 20 minutes start to finish. Exactly the kind of engineered solution I expect from RevoPower. Would buy again.
